Morning Mass: Core Focus

Hey guys,
Happy Wednesday! Thank you for
joining me for another edition of
Morning Mass: Core Focus.

We are going to get right down to
business today.

Strengthening our core or our
mid section is very important
and will prevent injuries when
performing upper or lower body
movements.

Get your 2 glasses of water down
and your multi vitamins along
with your fish oil and or calcium
so that you will never forget.

This is all about starting your
day right. Forming the right
habits to give you as much
energy and focus to take on
the day!

We're starting on our side
for left and right crunches.
Then, if you have been here
following along we have been
including planks.

Single leg planks is when you
have elbow and toes are the
only contact with the floor.
Abs tight, raise one leg off of
the floor and then hold your
leg in that position for the
desired length of time. Today
that is 30 seconds then lower
to the floor and raise the other
leg. Do that 4 times.

Roll over onto your back to
perform 10 full sit ups. When
doing this keep your abs in
tight as if you are flexing
them at the top of the rep.

We finish off this set with
some burpees. As if in a
push up position. Bring
both legs in and then bring
yourself almost exploding
to jump as high in the air
as you can. Then back down
in the push up position. You
can also do a push up while
you are there. Reps of five.

Do today's set for a total of
3 times.

Do what you can and strive
to do better next time.

It is very important to also
get a protein packed meal
after this. Breakfast is so
vitally important!

Hope you'll join me for the
next gathering of Morning
Mass. Friday will be our
lower body workout. I am
still accepting routines that
you come up with. If you
have one you would like to
share and get spotlighted
on here let me know!

My wish is that each and
every one of you have an
amazing day today!

Dave
