6 Traits of the Mentally Strong

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good Evening
wherever you may be. I do hope this finds
you in good spirits. Today I wanted to talk
about habits of the mentally strong and this
post is the first in five parts.

Living out Louder is all about the mind and
the body. The mind will be one of the most
important muscles we'll ever work. When
we quest to get our body physically fit it
is equally important to develop our mind
to get mentally strong. The more we work
on these traits the more ingrained they
are into our day to day habits.

1. They don't expect success overnight.
Whether they are getting a new business
of the ground or improving their health
and fitness, they understand that lasting
change takes time.

2. They don't give up with the first failure.
Failure is not a reason to give up. They
view failure as an opportunity to grow and
improve. To be willing to keep trying till
they get it right.

3. They get up EARLY!
The masters, the successful get up early.
They MAKE the time to get up early and
get things done while the rest of the world
sleeps and takes it easy. How much do
you think you could get done with a few
extra hours? Some are always asking if
only I had a few more hours in the day.
Commit to start getting up early.

4. They eliminate the distractions.
Whatever that may be it may be high
amount of cell phone use checking into
facebook every 10mins or could be the
after work ritual of sitting in front of the
empty box for hours till we fall asleep.
There is a time and a place for everything.
They are working on their goals in place
of allowing to be habitually distracted.

5. They choose to see the past as a lesson.
They know what doesn't happen or what
does happen is of their own doing. Luck
has nothing to do with it. That everything
is asked for, believed in and then it was
received. They know that the past does
not define them. That when someone has
made a mistake they are forgiven and a
chance to make things right in the future.

6. They don't feel sorry for themselves.
They don't waste time on things that they
cannot control. You're in your current
situation  because you either put yourself
there or decided to stay there! Research,
ask for help, do anything to change it if
you don't like where you are.

Change is inevitable but
personal development is a choice.
That is one of my many favorite quotes
that I learned from my mentor that I like
to keep reminding myself of.

Nothing is overnight but with practice
these traits will become yours. It is
a conscious decision that we are here
to get better and better and uplift
others with our strengths.

Do you have any habits or traits that
you have used with great success? I'd
love to hear it the comment section.
I want to thank you for stopping by here
today. We're all in this together, if I
can be of any help never hesitate to
ask.

Always remember to keep.....
Living out Louder
