Good Morning, Afternoon and Good Evening
wherever you may be! Where we left off last time
we were talking about Creating your own story.
From telling yourself a negative story that is
keeping you away from something to writing your
own story that will inspire you to champion
through any obstacle.
Today I would like to explore with you one
of those ways and that is getting out of your
Comfort Zone.
Far too often we put ourselves into a state
where we are no longer challenging our selfs.
The hallmark of self esteem is having some
success in something that you have trained for.
In turn this gives you more and more confidence
to continue with what you are doing.
Only you know what the fear of failure is
is holding you back on. Challenge yourself
to do new things. Maybe that could mean planning
a white water rafting trip to experience the
beauty of the outdoors. Maybe it could be to
start your own blog like this one to share your
heart and experiences with the world. Or it could
be to embark on a new fitness program to train
for a half marathon to be held in Las Vegas at
night!

One of the hardest things for me to do is consciously step out of my comfort zone... I've only done it a few times - I was driven by the desire to change my life. It was risky and I felt the adrenaline rush of pushing my limits.
ReplyDeleteThese days I'm just not sure of the direction to go, but once I've narrowed it down, then I know that I'll take that step forward! Thanks for your post, Dave! It's a reminder to get things moving!
