Decide, Commit, Succeed

Decide, Commit, Succeed

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good
Evening wherever you may be. Thank
you for stopping by here today, it has
been awhile. I do hope this finds you
in good spirits. Have lots to share with
you and to catch up on but this post
was something I had to share first not
originally planned but something that
has been on my mind the most the last
couple of days..

We all have wants, wishes, dreams and
desires. Which ones are really important
to you? Do you feel like you're drifting?
Nothing good really happening? Maybe,
just maybe.. it is that you haven't set out
a list of goals. You see Goals are dreams
with a deadline. No matter how big they
may seem or how outlandish it sounds, It
is something you are going to be working
towards. Fix it upon your mind, decide,
declare what you really want! I'd like to
share a quote from Wallace D. Wattles.

"The more clear and definite you make
your picture then and the more you dwell
upon it, bringing out all it's delightful details
the stronger your desire will be, and the
stronger your desire, the easier it will be
to hold your mind fixed upon the picture
of what you want."

So sit down take the time you need, find
out, what do you REALLY want.

Stop drifting, end the randomness. Do not
put any limits on what you come up with.

Your goals will be your map to propel you
forward... doesn't matter how long it takes
you will find a way.

I wanted to keep this short and sweet today
to give you something to think about during
your day today. Maybe you already do know
and you have to focus back your eyes on
the prize. Allow this to be your nudge to do
just that. I'm going to borrow a phrase that
is used heavily in beachbody and that is....

DECIDE, COMMIT, SUCCEED

Always remember to keep....

This is Not You

What are you, what are you doing?
I cannot believe you are doing this.
Wallowing in the dark, expecting no
light to ever come. Asking the same
questions that have no answers.
This is not you.

Allowing your old wounds become
your identity?
This is not you.

You know what you focus on is
what will come true yet you choose
to continue to turn a blind eye to
what is good, what is right.
This is not you.

Why are you giving up, giving in
to people, places and things that
you know bring you only more of
what you don't want. What you
don't deserve.
This is not you.

Continuing on and on this wrong
path, I know YOU know that this
is the wrong way to keep going.
Isn't this guilt that you have
been carrying around for so long
ready to eat you alive, eating you
from the inside out.
This is not you.

You know what you should do,
what you need to do. Why are
you so afraid to do it? Are you
really that afraid of happiness?
That you are willing to continue
this way?
This is not you.

You know you can do better.
You know you need to work harder.

You know what you want and what
you will sacrifice to get it.

Facing your fear
Beginning the battle
Demolishing the Doubt

You will stand Triumphed over
every obstacle. The power that
is within you is greater than that
of anything outside of you.

Remember to keep.....

The Power of Love

The Power of Love

Have you asked yourself, "Why is everything
going so wrong?" "Why is this happening to me?"
"Why can I not catch a break?" "Will I ever have
a happy ending?"

I can answer that but it may be very hard for
you to swallow.

YOU!

You are the sole reason for all that has happened
and has continued to happen.

YOUR THOUGHTS
YOUR ACTIONS

Not only have you become them but you have
attracted it into your life!

The law of attraction is really the law of love.
The power of love.

When you focus on the negative aspects of
what is and could happen, you are thinking
and talking with a lack of love.

If you focus on what you don't want, if you focus
on the negative you are inviting it into your life.

Thoughts and actions are a boomerang and
in it's own way comes right back to you,

Thinking, talking and behaving with a lack of
love brings back nothing but a lack of love.

What we SOW we will REAP.
What we GIVE we will GET.

Isn't that good news though?

Energy attracts like energy and all that we are and
all that is around us is nothing more but vibrations.

The vibrations that you give out into the ether, out
into the cosmos, the universe will always give back
to you.

Nothing new can come into your life until you are
grateful for what you already have,

Instead of sharing your problems start in sharing
your joys. Instead of focusing on lack, focus on
what you do have. Fill your mind with what and
who you love. The way you talk changes, the way
that you behave changes. The magnetic field that
is around you is glowing, is emanating the absolute
glorious power of love.

What you think has a tremendous impact on your
body's biochemistry. When you allow yourself to
think of the negative your body tightens, with the
stress, your cortisol level rises which will store fat,
your energy level decreases. Not only lethargic,
the anxiety, panic and depression creeps in.

Coincidentally the effects are incredible on the
body when you are in a state of gratefulness.
When your thoughts look to the possibilities of
every situation even your posture is more erect.
The act of smiling to a stranger or of a favorite
memory or even of something you are looking
forward to, all the feel good chemicals are then
released. In fact, with exercise other chemicals
such as endorphins are released which help
in depression, anxiety, sleep and sexual activity.
Cultivating a grateful positive attitude is actually
harnessing the secret, the power of love

It stands to reason what you choose to put out
into the world doesn't it? Choosing the power
of love will bring light to every dark crevice and
heal the deepest of wounds. It's warmth, it's
hot fiery passion will melt away the coldest of
winters.

We have a choice every day.

We have a choice to not live in randomness
but to live with passion.

I know that you have been hurt. I know that you have
faced disappointment, I know that traumas are never
easy to reconcile with.

Instead of drifting and floating along we can direct
our thoughts and actions and harvest the incredible
power of love.

Find that bravery in your heart once more. Allow the
passion to flow freely, ignite that fire that is within you
again and share it's bright glory with the world.

The world needs one more beacon, one more conduit
of positive energy and most of all you need it.

Get rid of the thoughts and actions that no longer
serve you in anyway. Eliminate the people that are
in your life that only want something from you. You
know who they because they only take and ask to
fill their's and their needs alone. Life is about giving,
life is about adding value to those that we meet. To
leave them with increase.

To show our family the power of love.

At the end of the day, family is all that matters.

Remember to keep.......

Hitting the Wall

Hitting the Wall

"Do not let the fire go out,
spark by irreplacible spark,
in the hopeless swamps of the
approximate , the not-quite,
the not-at-all.

Do not let the hero in your soul
perish, in lonely frustration for
for the life you deserved, but
have not been able to reach.
Check your road and the
nature of your battle. The world
you desired can be won, it exists,
it is real, it is possible, it is yours.
Ayn Ran
Atlas Shrugged

If you have been a reader here
for long, you know that I like to
quote from Ayn Rand from time
to time. This is one of my many
favorite quotes of hers if i ever
hit a wall.

Have you come up against a wall
suddenly and feel like there is
nothing left to do? Whatever it
is that your gunning for whether
it is a New Years resolution to
lose weight or a financial or job
goal that you are aiming for you
may feel like you have hit the wall.

As the legendary Dusty Rhodes
have said, "There is no way out
but to get out!"

Rings true, wishing is just a mere
fantasy. Action will make take
those dreams and turn them into
reality.

Whatever you do remember, if you
hit that wall, action is still needed
more than ever!

Crawl, scratch, dig, keep it going.
Swing that hammer with more
determined blows. You will start
to make a dent. You will begin to
break through.

Now is more important than ever
to remain open to the possibility
that things can and will change
with the goal in your mind and
that hammer in your hand.

Remember to keep...

An Attitude of Gratitude

Could you write a list of things
that you are grateful for in your
life, right now? Can you write
at least 12? Then each day add
3 more to that list, until the
year is over?

Now you may say "Well I don't
like where I am currently at my
job." That's a refinement that
can and will change. Can you
say that you are grateful for
having a job, when so many
are without one?

Or that no one loves you or
cares because of a few bad
relationships that didn't work
out, when you are surround
by so many friends and family
that love you.

Hopefully it's not too much of
challenge for you to complete
this list. Some ideas could be
what are you most grateful
for in 2012. Maybe what 12
events you are most grateful
to in your lifetime? I'm sure
you'll find something there.

You don't have to share this
list with anyone. If you want
to you can share your list of
12 things your most grateful
for in the comments section
below.

Also add 3 to that list until
the end of the year.

It is my hope, that you will
cultivate an attitude of
gratitude.

2012 Year in Review and Moving Forward.

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good
Evening wherever you may be. I want
to Thank you for stopping by our site
today. I do hope that it finds you in
good spirits. Today's post is our 2012
year in review and moving forward
into 2013 and beyond.

Lots of changes and shake ups have
happened. Our site really picked up
steam when I introduced my 90 Day
Challenge to the public back in May.
A Challenge that I started in Feburary
and as of this writing have lost a total
of 48 pounds of bodyfat.

Have forged a lot of friendships because
of that and with a ton of emails and
private messages of their own body
transformations have been nothing
short of inspiring!

Where my little blog / website was
being hardly viewed at all in the
first few months of 2012 has now
been viewed in every major country
in the world. From Brockton, MA
to Israel, India, Australia, Germany,
and Sweden, Greenland and to all
parts in between. To be able to reach
and talk to so many different people
is amazing. Never dreamed that could
be possible. For that I thank you!

The tail end of 2012 has also seen the
end of my marriage. 20 years and
the towel has been thrown in. For
both of us to continue to evolve and
be happy, this had to happen. Endings
only happen so new bolder and braver
beginnings can start.

What has not worked for you this year
to reach and get closer to your goals,
discard it and look for a brand new
approach. I believe, what you choose
to focus on comes back to you!

Moving Forward 2013
Will see the start of the 90 Day Challenge
come January 1st. (More on that this week)
A permanent address to call home, also
I think I may have told only one person, but
hope to also finish a planned e-book. To
also get certified in one on one personal
training and group training. Lots of great
things coming up on the horizon and am
excited to get those realized.

Most of all will be to also get to know you
much more, after all we are in this together!

How was your year? And moving forward
what are you excited about the most
for 2013?

Back for More..

Defeat has been tasted,
bittersweet if swallowed.

Spit out that darkness,
or fade into the shadows.

Self mocking beat down,
Past digressions internalized.

Repeated history learned,
Alone, hope will not
materialize.

Wishing will not make it
Go away...

Get in the ring, lose this round.
I am, I sing, I am this sound.

Wishing will not make it
Go away...

Ring the bell, I've failed before.
Everyday, I'll be
Back for More!

Remember to keep...

The Sacrificial Time Warrior..

Pride is the recognition of the fact
that you are your own highest value
and, like all of mans values, it has
to be earned - that any achievments
open to you, the one that makes all
others possible is the creation of
your own charcter - that your
character, your actions, your desires,
your emotions are the products of
the premises held by your mind.
Ayn Rand (Atlas Shrugged P3C7)

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
Who after stressers of the day, still
walks into the gym so they can leave
it all on the floor.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
who is also worker and student,
studying into the wee hours of the night.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
that wakes up at four in the morning
so they can bleed onto the paper their
thoughts, so they can expose themselves
with the world.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
who locks themselves into the woodshed
to become a better musician honing
their craft.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
that forgoes the so called "free time"
and decides that "me time" really means
moving forward with their goals.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
who decides spend their time in the light
where it's hard but knows that spending
any time in the darkness is weakness..

Incision Indecision...

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good
Evening wherever you may be.
Thank you for stopping by our site
today to read our new post. I do
hope it finds you in good spirits.

Choices are all around us. What we
decide upon, good or bad makes us
who we are. Now that's not to say
the past makes up entirely who we
are, but of this thing we always hear
about,this thing called karma.

What we decide.

What we choose to do attracts
back onto us.

I am a firm believer in this.

A robber or moocher will not escape
the choices he has made of
dependancy, guilt and of what lady
luck may give him.

The emotional eater will not escape
the effects of the high empty calories
and high sugared foods that will
wreak havoc on their bodies.

But so the kind heart that shares their
love of the world and the people in it
will not escape that either.

The hard worker who thinks for
themselves and make things happen
because the pursuit of their highest
ideals is their character is also
inescapable.

Choose wisely.

Get off the fence.

Whats for you or against you.

Remove the procrastination

and Incision Indecision.

I want to Thank you again for stopping
by here today. I do hope it helps you
in some way on your own journey.
What are you procrastinating about?
What do you want to decide on once
and for all? Remember to keep.....

Happiness and Giving onto others..

     Good Morning, Afternoon or Good
Evening wherever you may be. I want
to Thank You for stopping by our site
today to read our new post. I do hope it
finds you in good spirits. I wanted to
share a story of Happiness and Giving
onto others.
How can we be happy? There's a
few ways we can do that. Sometimes
we need a reminder to get back to that place.

1. Be happy yourself. You cannot make the change you want in the world without first doing it for yourself.

2. Accept others as they are. I'm sure
every one of us can be self conscious about something in us. Wouldn't it be great that someone came up to you and reassured you that "hey you are
unique and amazing just the way you are!" Stop expecting everyone to be just like you and celebrate that we are all different.

3. Smile. Yes smile, it will trigger great emotions to the one your giving it to. I dare you to try that today! Smile at a stranger and watch how they will smile back! You never know, that person may have needed that and be reminded that we are all connected.

4. Give onto others. Whether its a stranger or friend help them out. There is something amazing for giving of yourself to others with nothing in return. The more service that you provide the more you are worth.

5. LOVE. Spread it around!

I want to thank you again for stopping by here today. Is there anything you could add to this list? Share it with the rest of us here in the comments section below! Remember to always keep....

The 13 Virtues of Benjamin Franklin...

Benjamin Franklin

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good Evening wherever you may
be. Thank You for stopping by our site today. I hope this finds
you in good spirits. I wanted to share with you today my findings
upon reading the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. There
are many highlights within the book that I may write more about
in the future, but, todays post will be on what he would have
published "The Art of Virtue".

Benjamin Franklin conceived a bold and arduous
project of arriving at moral perfection. His intention being to
acquire the habitude of all these virtues. His thought process was
of widdling down these to 13 Virtues with very short precepts
attached to them. Here I will list all of them.

1. TEMPERANCE.- Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation.

2. SILENCE.- Speak not but what may benefit others or
                        yourself; avoid trifling conversation.

3. ORDER.- Let all your things have their places;
Let each part of your buisness have it's time.

4. RESOLUTION.- Resolve to perform what you ought;
Perform without fail what you resolve.

5. FRUGALITY.- Make no expense but to do good to others or
                              yourself; that is, waste nothing.

6. INDUSTRY.- Lose no time; be always employed in something
useful; cut off all unnecessary actions.

7. SINCERITY.- Use no hurtful deciet; Think innocently and
justly; and, if you speak, speak accordingly.

8. JUSTICE.- Wrong none by doing injuries; or omitting the
                       benefits that are your duty.

9. MODERATION.- Avoid extremes; forbear resenting injuries;
So much as you think they deserve.

10. CLEANLINESS.- Tolerate no uncleanliness in body, clothes
                                    or habitation.

11. TRANQUILITY.- Be not disturbed at trifles or at accidents
                                    common or unavoidable.

12. CHASITY............

13. HUMILITY.- Imitate Jesus and Socrates.

He knew that giving all of these his attention at once to be
a distraction. So to make it a habit to master each one he made
a little book allotting a page for each virtue. Ruled each page
with red ink, so as to have seven colums, one for each day of
the week, marking each column with a letter for the day. Then
crossed these columns with tirteen red lines. Marking the begininng of each line with the first letter of the virtues. With black ink marking a spot upon examination any faults in regards
to the virtue of the week. Each week by order of virtues it would
be the goal by the end of the thirteen weeks to not have any
black spots.

I thought this was a very lofty and ambitious goal to undertake, as did he. But in the pursuit of them is where you find out more of yourself and that of others. I want to attempt
this for myself and give this exercise a worthwhile try for the
thirteen weeks it prescribes.

The book written by him was fascinating and left me wanting to find out more about him at much grearter lengths. You can find this Autobiography for free in Google Books, definetely
worth the read.

I want to Thank You again for stopping by today to read
our new post. I hope it has helped you in some way on your
own journey. Always remember to keep....

What can you do in 90 Days? (8/1-10/31)

Good Morning, Afternoon or Good Evening wherever you may be. Thank You for stopping by our site today and I do hope that this finds you in good spirits. Today is the last day of our 90 Day Challenge and as it's a time for reflection if you participated this is also a call to arms of sorts that tomorrow August 1st begins our next Living out Louder 90 Day Challenge!

If you were one of the ones that did participate I sure hope that you did well and seen some progress. I recieved alot of emails throughout the process and was very inspired to carry on even further on my own journey of transformation. As it stands my total
body fat loss is at 36lbs. And I have much more work to do as I stated about a week ago I was thinking another 12-15 of body fat to lose but I'm now thinking it may be another 20lbs of body fat to lose. So that's my goal for the next 90 Days. Of course adding much more muscle in the process!

Whether you participated before or not, goal setting is imperitive and tracking what your doing is just as important! If you don't know where you are you don't know where your going!

This is not just a challenge of body fat loss it is a transformation into making yourself much better than where you currently are. To get leaner, more toned, more speed to your run for a better time and a stronger body for a record best lift. Breaking out of all plateus is attainable with some hard work.

I encourage you and I Welcome YOU to join me starting August 1st for our next 90 Day Challenge to eat cleaner and to add more fitness into your life! We will have much more blog posts during this related to the challenge for more tips and motivation.

Anything is possible, the goal is your sail and your actions of hard work is the wind that will push you towards your destination of transformation!

What can you do in 90 Days? Not what would you LIKE to do but what CAN you do? Without Challenges there is no growth that is the basis of all living things. I want to hear from my friends that participated before and from the one's that will accept this challenge that starts on August 1st! If you ever have a question enter it in the comment section below or email me here, Dave's Email. I hope you'll join me and always remember to keep
