I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
Who after stressers of the day, still
walks into the gym so they can leave
it all on the floor.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
who is also worker and student,
studying into the wee hours of the night.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
that wakes up at four in the morning
so they can bleed onto the paper their
thoughts, so they can expose themselves
with the world.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
who locks themselves into the woodshed
to become a better musician honing
their craft.

I Salute The Sacrificial Time Warrior
that forgoes the so called "free time"
and decides that "me time" really means
moving forward with their goals.

who decides spend their time in the light
where it's hard but knows that spending
any time in the darkness is weakness..
