Engaging or Broadcasting?

     Good Morning, Afternoon or Good Evening wherever you may be. I want to Thank you for stopping by our site today to read our new post. I do hope this finds you in good spirits. Our last post we left off with a question. In terms of communication, "Are you Engaging or are you broadcasting?"

     Is there a difference? Sure there is, especially when wanting stronger ties in our everyday relations. Whether it's our customers we deal with, your Google Plus community, your brand and most importantly our children.

     Broadcasting you see is a one way street. Just shooting out a message in the hopes someone received the signal. In terms of sales this would be called a presentation. In regards to dealing with our children this would be "talking to them".

     But how about "talking WITH them as opposed to talking to them?" How about having a sales DEMONSTRATION instead of a presentation? How about ENGAGING rather than broadcasting? Which do you think has a better result in forging stronger ties with the people in our lives?

Getting involved and learning about our fellow man.

     Open the lines of communication and remind yourself "am I engaging or am I broadcasting?'
